Southern California restricts water usage

Mandatory water restrictions are on the way for six million Californians. Starting June first, residents who live in the Los Angeles area will be allowed to use outdoor water only once per week. The move comes as the first three months of this year have been the driest in California’s recorded history. CGTN’s Ediz Tiyansan reports from Palm Springs, California.
