7 DAY FAST, LESSON #5 LIVING SINLESS IN A SINFUL WORLD LESSON TEXT: Titus 2:12-13 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ. We know that the wages of sin is death, but Jesus Christ did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth. He lived a sinless life in a sinful world. Jesus was tempted, just as we are, yet without sin. When he was reviled, he reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judge righteously. 1Peter 2:22-23 Jesus Christ is that lamb without blemish and without spot. 1. 1 John 3:5 And we know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 2. James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempt he any man. 3. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 4. Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh.
