Sawyer Explains How to Run a Sawmill | Muscle Memory

I'm certainly no self-proclaimed expert on using a horizontal bandsaw sawmill but I have put a few years worth of cutting on them. On today's episode I narrate the video with the thoughts I"m having as I cut. Sometimes you may see me doing something but are unsure what I'm doing and why. Today is the day I explain what I"m doing as you see me doing it. There's not a lot of astrophysics involved in this operation but there is some muscle memory that needs to be developed in order to do the same thing over and over again in order to get high quality lumber. I'll be using a relatively crooked log today which just ads to the challenge as I attempt to minimize waste and maximize lumber. You may have seen crooked lumber like this on your local building centre shelves but I certainly wouldn't want to pay for it. Glad you're all here to see what all the fuss is about. Here we go!
