*National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola will appear before the Ad Hoc committee looking into concerns around national security today. Masemola first appeared before the committee in October last year, as its second witness. *A member of the Gauteng's Organised Crime Unit, Sergeant Fannie Nkosi returns to the stand at the Madlaga Commission this morning. *Severe flooding has hit several districts in Limpopo after intense rainfall over the past week. Waterberg, Vhembe and Mopani have been particularly hard hit, with some areas recording more than 100 millimetres of rain in just 48 hours. *Iraqi security sources say a wave of drone and rocket attacks have targeted the U.S. embassy in Baghdad early this morning, describing it as the most intense assault since the attacks began, with at least five drones used. *The South Africa Embassy in Algeria has confirmed that former Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Rulani Mokwena has been cleared to leave Algeria. It was earlier reported that Mokwena has been arrested by customs officials at the Houari Boumediene Airport for the alleged violation of the country's currency regulations.
