Here is a time lapse video of our Flat Rock Scorpion eating a wax-worm. This video was captured over the space of 1 hour, so she is quite a slow eater! This species can be found primarily in Southern Africa in the wild, they will be hidden underneath rocks and in small crevices, hence their name! This is quite a docile species, she does however have a sting on her tail so caution is always taken, however we are able to handle her during lessons which students and staff really enjoy.
