Alex Sampson opens for Jamie Miller and plays a cover of the One Direction song "What Makes You Beautiful" live in concert before a sold-out crowd at Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco, California on January 28, 2025. What Makes You Beautiful was the lead single from One Direction's debut album, Up All Night (2011). Alex Sampson is a 21-year-old Canadian singer-songwriter from Thunder Bay, Ontario who made it to the semi-finals of Season 19 of America's Got Talent. Joining him onstage for this show were Demi Albano (drums) and Dylan Rouda (guitar).
