Texas Drought - Downsizing Continues! Burning Up!

In this video, we are fighting the Brutal Texas Drought yet another weekend. This weekend, we carry three full trailer loads of cattle to the Paris Livestock Auction. (Cattlemens Livestock Auction.). YTD, we have downsized 30% of our cows and we have sold 80% of our calves at weaning. We would normally hold on to the calves, but not this year. We also do some spot watering of pecan trees and we also start the process of feeding hay in early August. That's a first!!!
