Allen Rd Expressway #ActiveTO (Toronto) - Narrated Bike Ride

This video shows my Saturday June 5th, 2021 cycling tour of the Allan Rd Expressway and Marlee Ave in the former borough of York. The video begins just north of the Eglinton Ave on-ramp to Allan Rd and ends on Marlee Ave just south of Roselawn at the York Beltline Trail. For one day only, the northbound lane of the Allan Rd was closed to motor vehicles from Eglinton to Lawrence. This closure was part of the Toronto's #ActiveTO pandemic response program, but also marks the 50th anniversary of the decision to stop the Spadina Expressway. More info about this bike in the link above. I filmed this using my GoPro HERO 9 Black action camera mounted to the main frame tube of the bike at the front with a custom 3D printed plastic bracket.
