Northeast Ohio Weather Impact forecast: More weekend cold and snow on the way

Your 6 p.m. Northeast Ohio Weather Impact forecast for Dec. 11, 2025: Lake snow will begin to wind down tonight with lows back into the 10s. A few snow showers are possible in our southern counties early Friday, otherwise a mix of sun and clouds is expected with highs near 30. Attention turns toward the weekend with a clipper system that will slide through Ohio Saturday. This will bring accumulating snow to the area during the day. The track of this storm system takes the bulk of the snow through our southern counties as of today, but a subtle shift in the track could bring the snow further south or further north -- so stay tuned. Once this system passes through, lake effect snow and cold, arctic air will spill back into northern Ohio. Lake effect snow will continue through Sunday into early Monday before ending. We could get some decent lake effect totals in the snowbelt (primary and perhaps secondary) before everything is all said and done Monday.
