Johnson: no reason to believe our vaccines don't work against Brazil variant

Boris Johnson stressed on Monday health authorities did not believe there was a 'threat to the wider public' after concerns a person in the UK who had contracted the highly contagious Brazil strain of coronavirus had not been traced. Scientists say the variant, first identified in the city of Manaus, is more transmissible and may be able to infect people who have previously had Covid-19.
