All criminal charges against Jussie Smollett dropped

All criminal charges against Empire star Jussie Smollett have been dropped by the Illinois state attorney’s office. Smollett had faced 16 felony counts alleging he lied to police about a racial and homophobic attack against him in January. “Today, all criminal charges against Jussie Smollett were dropped and his record has been wiped clean of the filing of this tragic complaint against him,” Smollett’s legal team said in a statement Tuesday. “Jussie was attacked by two people he was unable to identify on January 29th.” For more info, please go to https://globalnews.ca/news/5076509/ju...
