At least 17 people died after an explosion ripped through a restaurant in east China's Anhui Province on Saturday. A fire then broke out in the eatery, which is located on a popular snack street in Wuhu city. The explosion occurred around noon, when many students and company employees were inside for lunch. An initial investigation shows a gas cylinder leak was to blame for the accident. The restaurant's owner and his wife were both injured when trying to put out the fire with water and fire extinguisher.
