There's quite a few combos in the game that want you to end the combo in a specific way. Really they want the opponent to be in a specific state at some point in the combo. So if you don't do it the way they want it. It's not gonna count. Even if you're combo is legit. Cause the opponent wasn't in the state it wanted. It's not gonna count. Axl's Basics #2 is just one of these kind of combos. I understand what the game wants and why it's that way. But I'm still pissed that it doesn't count. Whether it's too fast or too slow. This combo wants it done the way it specified. Basically they want you to launch the opponent in the air in an untechable state so that one day you might have the idea to Roman Cancel it into one of Axl's other combos. Instead of what I was getting which was the opponent Teching and landing far away from me (which I could just Sparrowhawk Stance or use a long range normal from that point). Or if it's too fast they'll tech and be in my face (now that one's bad). This kinda thing pisses me off. Especially for this game cause if I want to see the fancy combos.
