"Shiv Kapoor (Abhishek Bachchan) and Pooja (Karisma Kapoor) are looking for a job. They happen to be interviewed the same day in the same company and both are equally qualified for the job. However, Pooja manages to fool Shiv to get the job. Eventually, he also gets job in the same company and soon both fall in love and get married. However, sparks fly after marriage and Pooja comes to know about Shiv's post-marriage one night stand with his college friend Meghana. She asks for a divorce straight away and leaves him. Then she gets a job as secretary of film star Raj Malhotra. He starts liking her and both decide to get married.
