Final Fantasy XV: Seize The Moment (Cross-Chain Bandersnatch Method)

This is a four-part video which features methods on how to do the 10-link cross chain for the #SeizeTheMoment trophy. Primarily using the #Bandersnatch method in Hammerhead for those that are already Level 120 and have OP passive buffs. For most that makes it hard to keep most common enemies alive when doing warp strikes to trigger the cross chain. ☑ Remove all powerful weapons and equip only the basic ones: #Noctis - Broadsword (42 ATK) #Gladius - Two-handed Sword (48 ATK) #Ignis - Daggers (20 ATK) #Prompto - Handgun (32 ATK) ☑ Remove all accessories except for "Key of Prosperity" in case you are still collecting rare drops from enemies. ☑ Give Noctis the #AfroSword despite this having a 503 ATK, it almost instantly initiates a cross-chain prompt. Probably any other great sword will do though I haven't tested that yet. ☑ Make a manual save next to the only pylon in-between the Campground: #CotisseHaven and the Bandersnatch lair (see at 01:00). This helps force spawn the Bandersnatch (after a gamesave reload) in case it gets killed or when a refresh is needed in case initiating the cross-chain fails. ☑ Food should give you the least buffs. Toasted rice and cup noodles are fine. ☑ Note that the trophy requires you to do a 10-chain attack (not missing even one QTE) TEN times. It doesn't have to be in one go as this is cumulative, meaning all 10 successful cross-chain attack (sets) simultaneously. The trophy requires you to collect 10x of these 10-chain attacks at any moment within the same game save. ★ TIPS ★ ✔ Strategy: #WarpStrike with ▲ (traingle) to initiate a #CrossChain. You have 10 seconds to perform a chain of the #LinkAttack will fail. Please bear in mind that warpstrikes do not guarantee a cross-chain prompt. It's RNG-based, though using the #Afrosword somehow helps raise the chances of starting one. ✔ Press Ⓞ (circle) while the meter is active to string together attacks. You can perform up to 10 successive strikes in a single cross chain. YOU MUST press Ⓞ (circle) at the right moment it appears on the QTE - a little too early or a little too late will FAIL the cross-chain. ★ 01:15 AFROSWORD (Bandersnatch L38) Just showing how quick the Afrosword takes to put the Bandersnatch in a vulnerable state (always aim for the legs) as it initiates the start of the cross-chain QTEs. This is pretty much straightforward, just be patient and wait for the "circle" to appear and sometimes it takes a little longer to appear breaking your rhythm on the timing when pressing the button, so be aware of that and try not to over do it. Just make a manual save next to the pylon after every successful 10-link cross chain. DO NOT reload without making a save or the attempts you have made will not be counted. Rinse-repeat ten times. ★ 02:45 BROADSWORD (Bandersnatch L38) Same procedure as the Afrosword except this one takes a bit more of an effort to put the Bandersnatch into a vulnerable state. Again aim only for the legs when doing the warp-strikes, R1 to lock on then press "triangle". There are more chances of failing to initiate the cross chain with the broadsword compared to a great sword. ★ 03:35 BROADSWORD (Magitek Assassins L47) The Magitek troops are a bit trickier to do as they die almost instantly with Noctis' warp strike attacks despite using the most basic of weapons and devoid of any accessories. It's because of the passive buffs that each character has on the #AscensionSkills/abilities. If they're all maxed out plus the player being high levelled, chances are that low-levelled enemies will die on the first or second strike. Add the teams auto-abilities like Prompto's ballistic attacks which makes enemies life preservation more difficult. Ironically it's Galdius' ability to auto-strike the enemy is what we're looking for. He can leave the Magitek troops in a vulnerable state almost instantly after his first strike. Though that leaves them with only half their health giving Noctis little room to do the warp-strike to initiate the chain. As shown in the video, there were a lot of chances to do the chain after Gladius strikes them, and by the time Noctis does his part the enemy has already died. ★ 05:20 BROADSWORD (MA-Veles Bis L46) Even Mechs can be used to farm the chain-strikes. Initiate it by attacking their legs, though they must be the lower types. The MA-X Angelus-0 (L99) may be too OP and complicated to farm, so best avoid it. You could equip the #RingofLucii in case you end up farming at night, as this makes it easier to get rid of it with just the basics equipped without the need to change your set-up. In my experience they spawn quite often in that area during night time, and to face the boss mech with nothing good on the lads puts the gang at great risk of dying from its attacks - and a possible GAME OVER.
