Venezuela’s military is holding two days of nationwide drills. The move comes as tension mounts over a US naval build up in the region which Washington says is part of its so-called war on drugs. Since early September the US military has attacked more than a dozen boats it says were transporting drugs off the Venezuelan coast. At least 70 people have been killed.
