Doctors and nurses who are required to care for patients while using extensive personal protective equipment have found that “bedside manner” is a bit harder to convey from behind what sometimes look like hazmat suits. One respiratory therapist in San Diego came up with an idea to make patients feel more comfortable. He put a big laminated photo of himself smiling on the outside of his gear, and after sharing a photo on Instagram, other healthcare workers are joining his movement. #InsideEdition
