Catholic Vote to File a Lawsuit Against the FBI for Targeting Catholics | EWTN News Nightly

A Catholic organization says it is prepared to file a lawsuit against the FBI. Catholic Vote says it has asked the bureau for more information about the since withdrawn memo from the FBI Richmond office that appeared to target traditional Catholics. Catholic Vote used the Freedom of Information Act, but it says the FBI memo is part of a pattern of hostility against the faithful. President of Catholic Vote, Brian Burch, joins to tell us about the Freedom of Information request he made to the FBI and where things stand now. The organization accuses top law enforcement agencies of a pattern of hostility against Catholics and all people of faith. Burch explains what makes them say that. He recently called on Church leaders to speak out against the targeting of the faithful. Burch shares what response he has received so far. He fills us in on what other stories he is following. ------------ EWTN News Nightly provides the latest news and analysis from a Catholic perspective.
