Former CIA official expects number of hostages held by Hamas to increase

Former Senior CIA official Norman Roul says the number of hostages held by Hamas in Gaza will grow. Hamas is holding at least 199 hostages in Gaza, according to the Israeli military. “199 only describes Israeli hostages, there are a number of Americans missing and other nationalities missing,” he told Sky News Australia. “We should fully anticipate that the number will grow." Officials say 2,808 Gazans and 1,400 Israelis have been killed in the conflict.
