The Secret To Great Golf Courses: Stop Fighting The Landscape | Cities Skylines 2

Redmont | Episode 15 : Suburban Sprawl, Hillside Terraces & a Golf Course Redmont enters its rapid post-1950s expansion era. This episode kicks off a stretch of suburban growth as the city pushes up into the hillsides surrounding town, terracing terrain, carving in a quiet country back road to Honeybrook, and building out 1970s/80s-style residential development where flat land is running low. The centerpiece of this episode is a custom golf course built into the region's dry, rocky terrain rather than the easy choice of flattening it along the river, using Joe Geske's golf course asset and some dramatic natural boulder outcroppings as a signature feature. From there it's on to hillside suburbs, a rushed 1980s "cookie-cutter" developer neighborhood, some commercial infill and light industry near the tracks, and a first look at what a future West Redmont financial district might look like, complete with an 1980s-style Wells Fargo bank building. If you're enjoying watching Redmont grow, a like and subscribe genuinely helps more people find the series.
