This old home built in 1872 use to be buried behind a lot of trees. Being in the area, I had no clue it existed as it was on an elevated hill from the road. It wasn't until they knocked down all the trees surrounding this home that I noticed it. I had to make a stop to get some pictures. It probably wasnt abandoned for very long but does have signs of it from broken windows and a lot of wood rot. Looking at the permit, this house is getting renovated to become the new club house to the apartment complex next to it. These photos were taken in March and the home today is starting to take shape. It looks like it is keeping it original architecture. The Name plate on the top center of the home says 1872 - W. GH. Hoopes. There was no inside access to this building as I was a little too late to find this one but I did take video. Disclaimer: Exploring Abandoned Structures can be dangerous and you could be trespassing.
