I knew it would take an extremely lucky set of scrambles for me to pull it off (I haven't been practicing much recently), and with just three rounds left before I go off to college next week, the odds weren’t looking good. I might have been happy enough with my 6.13 PR average in Round 2, and I didn’t expect to do any better in finals considering the “last chance” circumstances. But I was blessed by the gods of Square-1, and despite some painful lockups and pauses, I was still able to accomplish the one thing I needed to do before I could move on with my heart at peace. I am incredibly happy and honored to secure my spot as the fifth person to get a sub-6 Square-1 average in competition, which also makes the top five official Square-1 averages sub-6 and all with OBL/PBL. Also, huge congrats to my friends ‪@anshuchennuru‬ and ‪@RyanPilat‬ for their respective 6.68 and 7.39 PR averages, which made this podium the 4th fastest podium in the world! Thank you to all my friends and supporters for helping me make my dream come true after getting so close before, and thank you to ‪@CubeMasterYT‬ for teaching me PBL and ‪@paulbecsi7053‬ for teaching me OBL. I also couldn’t have done this without ‪@thecubicleofficial‬ whose gracious support helped me buy 9 MGC Square-1s as a result of breaking 12 cores since the release of the puzzle xD Oh yeah, and thanks to ‪@MaxSiauwCubing‬ for his amazing timer tutorial:    • How to Add a Timer to Your Solves   Thanks for watching!
