(to be released in 1960 – “why would be clearer then”): Description of “white bishop” (pope?) walking through ruins and up a hill to a cross where he is gunned down by soldiers; this was not released until 2000, despite our Blessed Mother's insistence that it be given to the world no later than 1960. Lucia was so terrified she could not write it down, and even after she was ordered to she took months to gather the courage to do so. The consensus among Fatima scholars is that the Church will have a corrupt pope who will lead many into heresy and that the earth willbe subject to a great chastisement, killing a major portion of humanity. On October 13, Our Blessed Mother provided a miracle to 70,000 onlookers by making the sun dance and drying the crowd and ground (it had been raining all night and morning).
