I have a story to tell! So mind you this is the day that Grand Central Madison opens up right? So after me and the boyz spent nearly 3 hours there touring the station, we somehow ended up trying to catch a 2009 LFS that was on the M101. I had completely forgot about that until now being that there was another 2009 that ran on the M15 on the evening of January 27th, which kinda made me remember. So We head out to Staten Island where it suddenly starts raining, and take the SIR to Eltingville. From there we take an S89 to Bayonne, where we take the New Jersey Transit HBLR (Hudson & Bergen Light Rail) to Hoboken, from there we take the PATH to 33rd Street, walk to Penn Station, and took the Long Island Rail Road Jamaica to ANOTHER LIRR to fucking St Albans to drop off my friend. Now it’s almost 8 PM. Running in the rain from a Recreation Center in the area all the way to Merrick Boulevard, untied shoes, stomping in puddles, which then created soggy socks, I’m on Merrick seeing that Q85 LIMITED turn the corner. Almost missing the bus on the way back, I caught a Q85. Dk what a Jamaica bound 85 was limited for at the time but eh, whatever. Shit made absolutely no bus stops from Baisley Boulevard all the way to Liberty Avenue, where the operator just idled there for like… 3 minutes? I’m gonna assume that she was expecting another operator to take over her shift or whatever, but considering the heavy rains in Queens compared to the rest of the parts of city including NJ and SI we been to today was actually pretty bad. Idk which kind of jackass gets off on Archer and Merrick just to walk to Parsons Archer when the bus stop is literally right there but eh… Clearly the best part about this bus ride is how fast and smooth it was until Liberty Avenue. This operator knew her shit and hauled straight ass. And just out of boredom, I got a clip of the audio lmao. IT DOESN’T END THERE I HAD TO STAND 20 MINUTES IN THE RAIN OUTSIDE OF PARSONS ARCHER WAITING FOR THE Q44 (or a Conehead on the Q20 ) TO CHARGE MY PHONE (since it died after I get off the 85 and what do I get? A fucking 2012-13 NFI XD60 (4735) on the 44. Waiting for another 44, shortly after, I rode a 2017 to Flushing, getting my phone up to 51, and went back to Grand Central Madison just to find out it was closing so I went back home lmaooo The end.
