Honey I Shrunk The Kids Promo Sunday at 4pm on WGN-TV/WGN Entertaining America (November 22,1997)

Local promo for the syndicated airing of the 1989 Walt Disney Pictures film Honey, I Shrunk The Kids to air Sunday November 23,1997 at 5pm et/4pm Ct on WGN Entertaining America. This promo aired between commercial breaks during the airing of the 1981 Paramount Pictures blockbuster Raiders of The Lost Ark which aired November 22,1997 on then WB Network Affiliate WGN-TV in Chicago,Illinois as well as the national superstation feed of WGN which served as the de facto WB Affiliate on cable and satellite outside the Chicago area. The WB programming would be removed from the National WGN come the Fall of 1999 beginning with Kids WB replaced by shows from off network syndication which took affect on September 6,1999 followed by WB Primetime programming replaced by movies on October 7,1999. The WB affiliation remained on WGN in Chicago until September 17,2006 when WGN became Chicago’s charter CW Affiliate, on September 1,2016 WGN-TV reverted back to an independent station after 21 years with network affiliation. The National WGN would convert to a basic cable network known as WGN America on December 14,2014 which lasted until February 28,2021. As of March 1,2021 it is known as NewsNation.
