Syrian gov't forces continue to seize parts of eastern Aleppo from rebels

시리아군, 알레포 북동부 완전 장악 Syrian government forces and its allies are continuing to push rebels out of more neighborhoods in eastern Aleppo,... prompting tens of thousands of civilians to flee the violence. The Russian foreign ministry says Syrian forces have retaken twelve districts that had been controlled by rebels before the weekend. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights is calling it the biggest defeat for the opposition in Aleppo since 2012. Syrian state TV said government troops were dismantling mines and explosives and were continuing their advance. Aid groups have said that as many as a quarter-of-a-million people may still be in east Aleppo, with little access to food, water or medicine.
