I have been trying to put the Double Barrel/Boomstick into build, but nothing really seemed to suit it. Other shotguns were more efficient/better with a high end setup or Hunter's Fury setup. Non of the Gear sets really worked well with how Double Barrel Shotgun plays. Ongoing Directive and Striker were close for the reload speed or weapon handling bonuses because the Double Barrel reloads a lot; but the other attributes/talents didn't really lend themselves well to a Double Barrel. Umbra however, I feel, works well with the Double Barrel. I tend to want to pop out and shoot and then duck back into cover to reload anyways which plays nice with Umbra. The Crit Chance bonuses help to make up the lack of weapon mods. The Reload speed is nice because the Double Barrels, again, reload a lot. The 4pc talent provides a burst of damage through rate of fire and crit damage. Went with the Umbra Chest for maximum Crit Damage and Rate of Fire and went with the backpack for the heals. I decided to go heavy into Weapon Handling to reduce the spread and reduce the reload speed even more. I felt this worked better then adding more Crit Damage because I land more shots with Weapon Handling at a bit better ranges than having higher damage that is more likely to miss. To go all in on Weapon Handling, I went with 2pc Striker. 2pc Petrov with one being Contractors also works well. You sacrifice 5% weapon handling for much more crit chance/damage/damage to armor or 2pc Overloard with one being Fox's. This provides a bit more accuracy and better damage with more crit chance/damage/damage to targets out of cover at the cost of stability and reload speed. 1pc Ceska nd 1pc Grupo is also an option. Or work in a Coyotes/Bloody Knuckles with any of the previous alternate options. Used a Rifle secondary to make up the weakness that all shotguns have which is range. Went with a SIG 716 CQB with Boomerang. The weapon handling also makes this a laser and the boomerang provides some nice sustain to complement the Double Barrel's burst. Gunner for the armor on kill mostly. The extra rate of fire boost helps a bit too along with the weapon handling. Skills: I went with Bulwark shield so I could switch to that and use the Backup Boomstick/Double Barrel more safely. Riot Foam for CC. Build isn't amazing, but pretty fun. I have something to play to increase expertise for the Boomstick and Backup Boomstick. I could have demo'ed it with Lincoln Memorial where lot's of builds can look really good especially close quarter/range builds, but I figured I show it with a mission that wouldn't necessarily lend itself easy for the build to show it's Weaknesses along with its Strengths for a better gauge. There's a few times I was close to getting downed and I got extremely lucky.
