Another Potent Storm System Approaches the Southern Plains - November 2, 2022

November 2, 2022: Another active period of severe weather is forecast for the central and southern Plains tomorrow (Thursday, November 3) and especially Friday (November 4). A conditional threat of severe storms with all severe hazards will occur late Thursday into Friday morning for central Kansas, the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles, and northwest Oklahoma before the main round of potentially significant severe weather impacts areas of central Oklahoma southward into central Texas, including the Oklahoma City and Dallas/Fort Worth metro areas Friday afternoon/evening.
