Exploring Taiwan Day 2 - Jiufen, Shifen, Yinyang Sea, Golden Water Falls, and Ningxia Night Market

A journey to Jiufen and Shifen - Lanterns, Old Street, and Local Delights and ending the night at Ningxia Night Market delicacies. On our second day in Taiwan, we step back in time and explore the charming Jiufen and Shifen Old Streets. These two historic towns, nestled in the mountain of northern Taiwan, are famous for their nostalgic streets, breathtaking views, and delicious local food. Our first stop is Shifen, a small town along the old railway line. Top Things To Do in Shifen: Fly a Sky Lantern - Write your wishes on a colorful lantern and release it into the sky along the railways tracks. Different colors symbolize different kinds of luck ( e.g - red for happiness, yellow foe wealth ) Stroll Through Shifen Old Street - Browse shops selling souvenirs, snacks, and traditional Taiwanese goods. Next, we headed to Jiufen, a historic gold mining town famous for its stunning views and nostalgic atmosphere, Its winding alleys and tea houses inspired the setting of the famous film spirited away. After a magical day in Jiufen and Shifen, we return to Taipei, visiting Ningxia night market to explore Taiwan's different delicacies.
