Easy Polymer Clay Cane: Modern Art Cane Tutorial

Today I’ll show you how to make something I like to call a Modern Art Polymer Clay Cane. It’s a really easy, but effective cane that can be used on its own or with other techniques. You can incorporate the lines into any sort of cane. This time I’ll be using a Skinner Blend Plug, but you could use it in a plain block or a more interesting cane like a Skinner Blend Bulls Eye cane, a Bulls Eye and many others. (I just found out that an Artist by the name of Lorrene Baum-Davis also came up with this technique and calls it the Cut and Insert.)
