Beatles"The Word" Kirk Schmidt Arranger-Ken Loomer Big Band

The Word is a song composed by John Lennon and Paul McCartney for their Rubber Soul album back in 1965. Kirk Schmidt did this excellent arrangement for my Big Band. Like always ,no rehearsal for this chart. I had the guys sight read this for me. This features Larry Cangelosi on bari sax,Tony Castellano Jr. on piano,Dick Hamilton on trombone and Tom Parmerter on trumpet. Kirk Schmidt arrangements are very unique and he has his own style of writing songs that no other person is doing now. This concert was at the COPA club in Sarasota,Florida.
