Top 10: The World’s Most Innovative Countries – Global Innovation Index 2025

Switzerland, Sweden, the US, the Republic of Korea and Singapore top WIPO’s Global Innovation Index (GII) ranking, followed by the United Kingdom, Finland, the Netherlands, Denmark and China which breaks into the top 10 for the first time. The report also finds that while global innovation is facing headwinds, it isn’t standing still – new breakthroughs are reaching people around the world.
