Hai Makkale... Have a very pleasant day. Today is our wedding day, so we planned to go Thiruneermalai Perumal temple. Thiruneermalai Perumal temple is one among the 108 Divya Desas of Perumal. It was 2000 years old temple. Lord Perumal appears in four postures. The Moolavar is Neer Vannar, Ranganathar, Ulagalanda Perumal, Bala Narasimhar. Thirumangai Azhwar and Boodhathazwar had praised the Lord in their celebrated Mangalasasanam hyms. Two time pooja is performed in the temple according to Vaikanasa Agama rules. Sage Valmiki deserved to have the wedding darshas of Lord Sri Rama. He came to this place and preformed penance to achieve his aim. Lord Sri Rama is in separate shrine. Devotees also seek child boon by placing cradles in a tree and for removal of obstacles in marriage efforts. Saint Tirumangai Azhwar came to this place for Perumal's darshan pleased with his devotee, Perumal granted four darshans to Azhawar - Neervana Perumal standing, Narasimha Perumal sitting, Ranganatha reclining, Ulagalanda Perumal in walking postures. Raja Gopuram, kodimaram the flag post are generally in a row in temple. As Perumal granted darshan to sage valmiki as Neervana perumal and Sri Rama. Finally we prayed and enjoy the blessings of nature. It is very old and beautiful temple really it's a great experience to us. Thanks to Perumal for this precious day.
