Stagecoach Southdown 16281 (P281 VPN) Chichester 4/1/13

Few of the once numerous standard Alexander 'R' type bodied Volvo Olympian's now remain in service with Stagecoach as many of them have been sold off, displaced by newer low floor vehicles. One that has remained allocated to the Chichester Depot of Stagecoach South (Southdown) since new is 16281 (P281 VPN) which carries the current incarnation of terrible advert livery for local radio station Spirit FM. As seen here, older vehicles in Chichester's allocation tend to find themselves used on the 48 route linking the City Centre with the Tesco superstore about half a mile away.
