Bangladesh attack: Police storm restaurant, rescue 14 hostages

A total of 14 people have so far been rescued after security forces stormed into a Dhaka restaurant to free around 20 people, taken hostage by at least eight gunmen. Gunshots and explosions were heard at the site. Five bodies have been recovered. The hostage-taking took place at around 9:30 PM local time on Friday at a diplomatic quarter in the city.
