Nikko Super Nova tear down and receiver swap 20200803 Watching this back I am thinking the 3rd wire from the battery box may be to give the car a "turbo boost" feature. Running it on 4.5 volts normally and 6 volts if you press the turbo button on your controller. I can't prove this as I don't have a suitable controller, but I do know that is a feature with the RX2 chip.
