“Significant Principles In Crossing The Red Sea” Meditating Life Center Louisville Bible Study Class. Scripture: Exodus 14. This Bible Study continues the story of the Israelites journey with God after being freed from bondage in Egypt. Teacher-in-Training Brother Durand gives us a brief review from his last Bible study of the significance of the plagues. Teacher-In-Training Sister Mary follows, leading us in Part 1 of our study of the story of the parting and crossing of the Red Sea. Our emphasis is on recognizing the fact that God is omniscient, (all knowing), especially when it comes to human nature and its potential pitfalls. We learn that God knows us better than we know ourselves and He takes that in to consideration in His determination to deliver us, just as He did the Israelites, safely to the destination and destiny He has planned for us.
