Lioba Brückners Portrait Workshop - Is it worth it?

In this video, you can see me participating in my first online art workshop. The course is led by Lioba Brückner, who is an amazing artist with a unique style. I wanted to take this course because I wanted to learn how to paint beautiful, slightly abstract portraits, and I think Lioba combines the two components of realism and abstraction so wonderfully in her work. That's why I was sure I could learn a lot from her. Please don't be surprised by the abrupt ending. After this review, I was just stunned – in a positive way. I wasn't sure what would be said, as other great artists had previously received various critiques regarding brushstrokes, color choices, etc. I wasn't only unprepared for the fact that only the nostril was painted a bit oddly, but especially for the comment that I might have painted certain parts even better than they did. I have to admit that I worked a few hours longer on the portrait than Lioba did. I am/were really proud and felt like a little child about this review, and I admittedly then forgot to film the outro. And to be honest, I was too lazy to style myself for the video at a later time.
