FOLLOWING GOD’S PATTERN – A Key to True Fellowship Wednesday 16th September, 2025- Midweek Service Exodus 40:34 Then the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. When we study Genesis 3, we learn that the very purpose for which man was created was fellowship with God. Even after the fall, God pursued man to restore him to this place of true fellowship. In John 15, Jesus calls us to abide in Him so that He may abide in us, for outside of Him we cannot bear fruit or do anything. True fellowship with God flows out of obedience to His pattern. For example, when Moses built the tabernacle exactly as God instructed, the glory of the Lord came down and filled the tabernacle of meeting. In contrast, due to disobedience, King Saul lost the kingdom because he altered God’s command. Beloved, fellowship produces humility and dependence on God, while obedience keeps us aligned with His presence. The two must always go hand in hand, for only then will His glory rest upon your life. Pearl of Wisdom: God’s presence rests where His pattern is honored, and His pattern can only be obeyed through fellowship with Him. Prayer: Lord, draw me into deeper fellowship with You.
