PRINCIPLE 10 - EXPERIENCE OF SALVATION

In His limitless love and grace, God made Christ—the one who knew no sin—sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. This desire for God's righteousness is awakened in us by the Holy Spirit. Through His guidance, we also acknowledge our sinful state, repent of our sins, and live a life of faith in Jesus as Lord and Christ, our Substitute and Model. This faith, ready to accept salvation, comes through the divine power of the Word and is a gift of God's grace. Through Christ, we are justified, adopted as sons and daughters of God, and liberated from the dominion of sin. Through the Holy Spirit, we are born again and sanctified. The Holy Spirit renews our minds, inscribes God's law of love in our hearts, and empowers us to live a holy life.
