ATLA: Avengers Endgame

Catch Chapter 7 of Avatar Abridged here:    • Avatar Abridged: Chapter 7   When I woke up yesterday, I had no clue I was putting this together, but here we go, my first trailer mashup utilizing A:TLA. It was the perfect time to put together this trailer, as I was in-between episodes of Avatar Abridged (still waiting on the recording for ep6). I think I went with A:TLA instead of Korra out of coincidence, I felt it suited A:TLA much better (though it probably could suit Korra season 4 pretty well). I was enamored with the idea of making Aang Steve Rogers because their backstories were so alike, and then from there Zuko had to be Tony Stark... which means I should probably bring something up. When I was a teenager and watched the original broadcast of A:TLA, I lowkey shipped Zutara. I didn't think it'd become canon, and I was right. I still ship it (it honestly feels weird, especially since I've moved on to Korra for the most part), so I included it here because I liked the idea of merging Pepper and Romanoff together (so maybe Zuko's the reason Katara's being so goth), rather than include Mai who doesn't do anything in the video (though to be fair, I could have included her doing stuff). I will admit that the weakest part of the video is the beginning segment with Zuko, but I also felt it was the weakest part of the actual trailer. I originally did want the "recap" stuff in black and white, but I didn't think it actually added anything, since I don't know how to do that cool color effect in the trailer. I'm also glad I included the Gyatso part, using Yangchen as a stand in for Peggy Carter. Also you'll notice at the end, I finally broke my rule of having female characters voice male characters, though I feel it worked here because I remember how Toph had always been used for male characters in these types of videos (I specifically remember her portraying Yoda in a star wars trailer over a decade ago). Weirldy enough for that scene, I was considering doing some ridiculous editing, and putting Korra in there to be Captain Marvel. I also noticed a weird meta detail as I did this video, all the talk about "starting over." I guess in a way doing A:TLA for trailer videos and abridged is like starting fresh.
