The photoshoot was a part of the marketing campaign for Atelier Jolie, a new clothing line. The October 2023 issue of Vogue included a picture session with Angelina Jolie, her son Pax Thien (then 19), daughter Zahara (then 18), and various friends and colleagues who are working with Jolie on her fashion line, Atelier Jolie. Angelina wore many enticing clothes for the session, Zahara wore a classic white dress, while Pax Thien sported his usual T-shirt, jeans, and sneakers ensemble. Pax even took a camera to the photo session to record the action off camera. Atelier Jolie, a fashion creative facility in Manhattan, New York, is due to launch in November, and Angelina claims that Pax Thien and Zahara have been instrumental in its development. Pax helped with the interior design, and Zahara provided assistance with site selection. Angelina considers the fashion line a family venture; during an interview, she proudly presented a white cloth with her son Maddox's handiwork—a spray-painted Atelier Jolie emblem. Angelina Jolie also discussed the importance of being a mother in this interview. At the age of 26, she gave birth to her first child, and she later described the numerous ways in which motherhood had saved her. Jolie mentioned the difficulties she's faced recently, including her divorce from Brad Pitt, and how her children have given her strength and meaning. She said she wants her kids to have a good life with lots of love and stability, and that includes the freedom to dress as they like. Angelina Jolie has six kids total; three are adopted and the other three are her biological offspring. Her children range in age from 22-year-old Maddox to 15-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne to 18-year-olds Zahara and Pax Thien. Angelina has temporary custody of their children after her 2016 divorce from Brad Pitt, and the whole family is presently living in a $25 million mansion in Los Angeles.
