The crew again executed the DHL Fastest Pit Stop during the Eifel GP at the Nürburgring after setting a new record for the current season just two weeks ago in Russia. In the Eifel, Red Bull was the only outfit to change tires in less than two seconds. The mechanics needed just 1.92 seconds to remove the soft tires from Max Verstappen’s car on Lap 16 and replace them with mediums. The mechanics also showed their speed when servicing the second vehicle, belonging to Alexander Albon, which they turned around and sent back out on its way in 2.49 seconds, achieving the fourth-fastest DHL Fastest Pit Stop at the Nürburgring; Albon had been the first driver to come into the pits on Lap 7. These points for first and fourth place enabled Red Bull Racing to extend their lead in the DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award. The Austrian outfit is now on 330 points with Mercedes and Williams way behind them in second place with 172 points. Read more: https://inmotion.dhl/en/formula-1/fas...
