I got the chance to get my hands on a Papua New Guinea coffee roasted by Cozz Coffee. It’s a Typica washed arabica grown between 1,600 and 2,200 masl. In the package description it said it had apricot, maple syrup and chocolate notes. During my tasting I could taste the apricot and dark chocolate notes to it and as it cooled down a bit the sweet maple syrup notes where more noticeable. I could also taste some nice hints grapefruit and a very smooth body. This coffee is perfect for an everyday morning cup. It has great balance and I believe it would pair great with milk. Definitely a coffee you’d love to have on your buying cart. The roast itself was a nice medium-medium dark roast greatly done by Cozz Coffee. On a personal note I’d love to try it as a medium light roast just to explore more of that grapefruit acidity. If I were to give it a cupping score, without cupping it and just by the AeroPress tasting, I’d definitely give it an 85/86 SCA score. #TheCuppingFarmer #coffee #coffeelover #coffeereview #vlog #coffeetime
