The Last of Us Part II Remastered: No Return DLC, All Playable Characters

In this video, I play the "No Return" DLC of the "The Last of Us Part II Remastered," the 2025 PC remake of the acclaimed 2020 post-apocalyptic action-adventure game. I play at hard difficulty and recorded this mostly unedited gameplay video at 2160p, with high to very high in-game graphics settings, on a PC with an RTX 4070 video card. In "No Return," I fight randomized combat "encounters" in many of the locations in the main game. Only Ellie and Abby are playable at the beginning. As encounters are completed, additional playable characters are unlocked, including Dina, Jesse, Tommy, Joel, Lev, a two-armed Yara, a non-pregnant Mel, Manny, Marlene, and Bill from the previous game. In every encounter, the player must stay alive and complete one of the following objectives: Assault -- kill 3 waves of enemies, with 3-4 enemies per wave. Hunted -- survive 90 seconds from enemies' aggressive pursuit. Holdout -- kill 20 enemies while keeping ally alive. Capture -- kill 5 enemies and find location of enemies' safe within 2m 20s. The ones marked • or * below are shown in this video: Brewery -- The flooded WLF base Abby and Lev escape from. Forest -- where Ellie sees Seraphites executing a WLF soldier. Gas Station -- Ellie and Dina visit here in the Capitol Hill. Gondola Station -- Abby visits here with Tommy and Joel early in the game. Hardware Store -- Abby visits here with Manny and Mel. Hospital -- where Ellie finds Nora, and Abby finds medical supplies for Yara. Houses -- WLF base where Ellie runs into Jesse. Jackson -- The town where Ellie and her friends live. Logging Camp -- Lumber yard where Abby and Yara escape from Seraphites. Motel Lobby -- where Ellie asks Joel why there aren't any immune people like her. Nest -- Clicker-infested floor of the tall building where Abby and Lev make their descent. Office 1F and 2F -- Part of the building where Ellie first sees stalkers in the main game. Overlook -- Roof of a building where Abby and Lev fight Seraphites. Overpass -- where WLF and Seraphites are fighting each other as Abby makes her escape. Resort -- Rattler base where Ellie finds Abby near the end of the main game. Restaurant -- Torn building where Abby initially thinks Yara and Lev have left her to the clickers. School -- Elementary school where Ellie and Dina are captured by the WLF, and later escape from. Shipping Yard -- Adjacent to where Yara and Lev are hiding after they and Abby escape from the Seraphites. State Street -- where Ellie first meets and fights the Rattlers in the main story. Subway Station -- where Ellie and Dina escape to after their trip to the TV station. Supermarket -- where Ellie and Dina visit on their first patrol early in the game. Streets -- Early part of Hillcrest when Ellie looks for WLF members.
