South Korea's special envoy to Russia arrives in Moscow

South Korea's special envoy to Russia is in Moscow on this Tuesday,... and is scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Democratic Party lawmaker Song Young-gil, will deliver a personal letter from President Moon Jae-in. He's also expected to convey a message of bilateral cooperation on North Korea, as well as pursuing joint energy ventures. Speaking to reporters upon his arrival, the envoy said Putin's good standing with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un could prove handy, in reining in Pyongyang's nuclear and missile threats.
