The fallout from U.S. President Donald Trump's executive order continues. In the latest move, the president has fired acting Attorney General Sally Yates. She had ordered Justice Department personnel not to implement the controversial immigration orders. In a memo to staff, Yates expresses doubts about the legality and morality of Trump's decision, which blocks migrants from seven predominantly Muslim countries from entering the U.S. In retaliation, the White House has called Yates "weak on borders and very weak on illegal immigration". Trump's administration is also criticizing Democrats for blocking the confirmation of Trump's attorney general-designate, Jeff Sessions. Trump is already facing multiple lawsuits in response to his executive order.
