Crystal Caves Beetle Race Half-Skip | Donkey Kong 64 Glitch

Found 30th August 2016 If you fall off in a certain area for some reason, it recognises that you've finished the race ahead of the Beetle. If you have less than 50 coins, you won't get the Golden Banana. However, if you have more than 50 coins, you'll get the Golden Banana. All 3 clips show that it works in very different areas. It's currently unknown whether it's entirely based on position. Credit to Unlink2 and someone on Gamefaqs who have documented this. These were attempts at it to find some form of set-up.
