On Friday, the Union of Auto Workers or UAW announced an expansion of its strike against Detroit automakers General Motors and Chrysler parent Stellantis. The strong demands from the Union include a 40% raise in pay over the four years of contract. Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex ended in the red for fourth day in a row on Friday.
