Solo Exploring & Fishing for Big Mangrove Snapper (Catch Clean Cook)

In today’s video, I headed out into the Gulf to search for cobia, but after a few hours of looking without success, I decided to switch gears and chase big mangrove snapper instead. These snapper get big out here and they don’t play, they pull hard and test even the most experienced fishermen. I fished solo around oil rigs, working structure until I caught my limit of big mangrove snapper. After wrapping up the day, I cleaned up the fish and fired up the grill for a full whole snapper catch and cook.
